If you want to ensure your kind donation makes the biggest impact in our superb county of Shropshire, then we are here to help.

Our aim is to support your philanthropy and maximise the impact of your generosity.

It can be difficult to know where to start when it comes to making a difference in your local area. There are so many good causes, and so many communities in need. That’s where we come in. Together we can change things for the better for people living in Shropshire.

Through the team’s breadth and depth of knowledge, we’re able to ensure your giving has the greatest impact where it is most needed – now and in the future. Becoming a Shropshire Community Foundation donor means that you will have access to our funding expertise, community knowledge, and advice on philanthropy and giving. Whether you want to establish a fund with us, make a one-off donation or develop a legacy programme, we’ll work with you to tailor your support, ensuring it has exactly the impact you’re aiming for.

All donations are gratefully received, and the entirety of every donation stays here in Shropshire, supporting grassroots community projects and charities that make a real difference.

“To have our own Community Foundation for Shropshire can only enhance the support for our vital voluntary sector and community organisations, and the role of philanthropic partner to businesses in the county has been sorely missed in the past. It is a wonderful initiative with which I am so pleased to be connected."

"Having spent a year as High Sheriff, visiting charities and volunteer led organisations across Shropshire who carry out life changing work in their communities, I have witnessed at first hand how vital it is to support them – I have also witnessed through the High Sheriff’s network, how much work Community Foundations do in almost every other county to support the voluntary sector. I see building an endowment fund for the County of Shropshire as one of the single most significant and impactful legacies it is possible to make, and am proud to have added to the High Sheriff’s fund which Dean Harris started."

“The Memories Team wanted to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society as a national charity but holding the event in Shropshire, it was important to us to choose a reputable organisation that was addressing priority needs in our County. To find a fledgling Community Foundation with such wonderful aspirations towards sustainable giving and support for the whole voluntary sector ticked all the boxes.”

Chrisbeon was established in Shropshire in 1974 , so we are passionate about supporting and giving back to the local community that has helped us as a business thrive for so many years. We were delighted to join the Shropshire Community Foundation and network with other like-minded businesses that all want to see Shropshire residents and businesses benefit from what the foundation can offer.

We are proud to be part of the Shropshire Investors In Community family. This is a generous county, and as a Chamber we have a key role to play in helping businesses to give something back. We know how important this is to local companies across the county, and if we can help to connect companies with charities and organisations that help communities thrive, our partnership with the community foundation is an excellent opportunity. Through collaborative working, we believe we can make a real difference to many people across the county
