Businesses and Charities Unite at Latest Shropshire Investors in Community Event

This month, we hosted our latest Shropshire Investors in Community event, part of the ongoing programme delivered by the organisation for our SIIC members.
The gathering once again highlighted the strength of collaboration across the county, bringing together businesses, charities and community partners for an evening of meaningful conversation and shared purpose.
Held at DENSO’s Telford facility, where staff provided excellent hospitality, the event gave attendees the chance to build new connections, strengthen existing partnerships and hear directly from several organisations that have recently benefited from the programme’s grant awards. Their stories demonstrated the real impact of local investment and the positive outcomes being delivered across Shropshire.
A key announcement during the evening was the introduction of a new funding opportunity, the DENSO JCE Fund, which will provide further support for community-focused projects in the months ahead. The launch was welcomed by both business leaders and charity representatives.
The event also marked an important milestone for the organisation as they officially welcomed their new Chief Executive, Joanna Morris. Attendees had the opportunity to meet Joanna, learn more about her vision and discuss future opportunities for collaboration.
We would like to thank DENSO for their hospitality, and Oak Apple Catering for their amazing food.
We are looking forward to the next event already.
